How To See Texas Up Close And Personal

Now that the Christmas holidays are almost over with, you might be planning a brand new adventure. If that adventures is taking you to the great state of Texas, you've got a lot to see! Here are some ideas that will help you to plan a memorable trip.

The Timing - If you go to Texas in the winter, you'll probably get great weather. However, you might also freeze to death! If you go to Texas in the summer months, just pick your own brand of hot. You can pick the hot and dry days of El Paso, or you can pick the hot and humid days of Port Arthur. Either way, if you're in Texas during the summer months, plan on high temperatures. Pick spring! You'll have cool mornings and evenings, but the days will be perfection. And, you'll see amazing field flowers everywhere you travel.

The Mode - If you don't have a lot of time, of course traveling by car is a good way to see the state. Back packing by foot or bicycle would be amazing, but it would also take you forever and a day. A wonderful way for you to travel is by motorcycle, pulling an enclosed trailer. Have you ever seen an enclosed motorcycle trailer? Basically, you'll be riding your motorcycle, but you'll also have a small personal trailer right behind you. Can you imagine how convenient that would be? Not only would you save money on lodging, but you could stay anywhere you deemed it safe to sleep. You'll keep your belongings right in the trailer knowing that they are safe from theft and from the elements.

The Route - Start in El Paso and experience some of the best Mexican food you've ever put in your mouth. Travel east toward San Antonio and go through the charming small towns of Fredericksburg and Boerne. Reserve at least two days for San Antonio so that you can see historic hotels in the downtown area, La Villita, the River Walk and the Mexican Market. Have a taste of big city life in Dallas, a bit of the west in Fort Worth and then head over to more of the big city before you end up in Port Arthur where you'll feel like you're actually in Louisiana.

Don't worry about maintenance for your motorcycle. There will be great places along the way where you can have it serviced. For more information, contact companies like Ace Trailer Sales.

About Me

Protecting a Beloved Grandparent

My maternal grandparents built a modest brick home in the country over 50 years ago. Sadly, my granddad passed away 23 years ago. Since this time, my grandmother has continued living in the brick home by herself. Because she will soon celebrate her 80th birthday, I have begun to worry about her protection more recently. To feel better about her continuing to live by herself, I would like to install a state-of-the-art security system at her home. I’m interested in purchasing a security system that contains a medical alert feature. On this blog, you will discover the best types of security systems to install at a beloved grandparent’s home.
